A 60-year-old High Ridge man was arrested for allegedly creating a disturbance at the Arnold Recreation Center, 1695 Missouri State Road. He reportedly argued with and shouted profanities at rec center employees, Arnold Police said.
The man was swimming in the indoor pool on Feb. 3 when he apparently got upset about the number of people in the pool. Staff members asked him to leave when he began yelling at people in the pool, the report said.
The man left but later returned to the rec center and allegedly yelled and cursed at employees. Arnold Police were called to the facility at about 9:20 a.m., according to the report.
Police say the man never threatened anyone, but he refused to leave the facility. An officer arrested him and took him to the Police Station, where he was booked and released with a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for allegedly disturbing the peace, Cpl. Brett Ackermann said.
