A High Ridge-area home was broken into and $6,500 worth of entertainment equipment and other items were stolen. The incident occurred between 6 p.m. Nov. 26 and 10:30 p.m. Dec. 1, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office said.
The culprit forced open a window to get into the home in the 5000 block of Dogwood Drive. Stolen items included five 10-inch round Infinity house speakers, a TSS 1200 Platinum Infinity brand stereo surround-sound system, a Toshiba overhead projection TV, a tan floor safe and household copper water lines, the report said.
The stolen items and damage to the window were valued at $6,500. As of Dec. 14, none of the stolen items had been recovered, Cpl. Matthew Moore said.
He said there were no suspects or arrests either. He asks anyone with information about the burglary to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
