A 25-year-old Herculaneum man was arrested for allegedly displaying a gun during an altercation outside the HotShots Sports Bar & Grill in Arnold. The gun was not fired, and no one was hurt during the incident, Arnold Police reported.
At about 11:50 p.m. May 15, Arnold Police got a call about a disturbance outside the bar, 131 Arnold Crossroads. When officers arrived, the man didn’t have a gun on him, but one reportedly was found in his vehicle, and numerous witnesses told police the man had one. The witnesses also told police the man allegedly said he was going “to shoot up the place,” Cpl. Brett Ackermann said.
The man was transported to the Arnold Police Station, booked and released pending application for warrants, Ackermann said. He said Arnold Police will seek charges against the man for exhibiting a weapon.
