Arnold Police are investigating the theft of a pistol and set of keys from an unlocked pickup parked outside the Browning firearms manufacturing company’s warehouse and distribution center at 3005 Arnold Tenbrook Road. The items belonged to a Browning employee, Capt. Rich Shular said.

The employee, a 43-year-old Festus man, told police the theft occurred between about 11:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 10. He said a .380-caliber Kimber pistol and a set of keys were stolen from his 1985 Chevrolet pickup parked outside the business.

The gun and keys were valued at a combined $835. As of Nov. 20, neither the gun nor keys had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Shular said.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
