Eureka Police are investigating the theft of two generators from outside homes under construction on Windfall Way in the Windswept Farms development. The generators were valued at a combined $1,700, police reported.
The theft occurred between noon April 9 and 7 a.m. April 12. The two green and yellow Ryobi generators had been secured by chains outside the homes being built by McBride and Sons Homes. The chains securing the generators had been cut, the report said.
As of April 21, the generators had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Lt. Michael Werges said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
