Arnold Police are trying to identify a man allegedly seen in surveillance video stealing a Honda generator from Northern Tool + Equipment in Arnold. The man was wearing a red shirt and blue hat when he allegedly stole the item from the store at 233 Arnold Crossroads, police reported.
The alleged theft occurred at about 7:45 p.m. July 20 when an employee was at the front desk checking out another customer. An alarm at the business went off, and the man reportedly was seen leaving the store with the generator and getting into a silver Pontiac Grand Am, that was driven away from the business, the report said.
The generator, which was valued at $1,099, had not been recovered as of July 29, and the man had not been identified, Cpl. Brett Ackermann said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
