A man who previously lived in Arnold has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for sexually abusing a girl and filming the abuse, as well as for secretly taking videos of a teen in a bathroom. The man already was a registered sex offender, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced.
Scott Michael Reinhardt II, 36, of St. Louis County pleaded guilty to producing child pornography in December 2021, and Judge Henry E. Autrey of the U.S. District Court handed down the sentence on March 9.
Between Feb. 1, 2020, and Dec. 13, 2020, Reinhardt used a cell phone to record himself abusing a girl younger than 10 years old. During that some time period, he recorded a girl younger than 17 getting out of the shower at a Jefferson County home, the plea agreement said.
In November 2014, Reinhardt was sentenced in Jefferson County Circuit Court to five years in prison on two counts of statutory sodomy and one count of statutory rape. The victim in that case was younger than 16, according to the plea.
