A fire destroyed an RV and a shed near Dittmer on Dec. 25, De Soto Rural Fire Chief Tom Fitzgerald said.
He said firefighters were dispatched to an RV, shed and an acre of brush on fire at 4:04 p.m. in the 8300 block of Engleford Road. Firefighters remained on the scene about an hour and half.
Fitzgerald said it is unknown how the fire started and the property had been unoccupied. No injuries were reported.
The Cedar Hill Fire Protection District assisted with the fire. The De Soto Fire Department assisted with other calls.
