A 34-year-old Festus woman recently was arrested in Arnold for alleged possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, as well as for shoplifting, Arnold Police report.
At 6:24 p.m. Dec. 29, Arnold Police got a call that the woman was being detained at the Target store, 3849 Vogel Road, for allegedly stealing $272.36 worth of merchandise, the report said.
When officers arrived, they allegedly found her with a small amount of heroin and drug paraphernalia, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
The woman was booked and then released pending application for warrants, the report said.
Depending on results from drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek felony drug charges, as well as charges for possession of paraphernalia and stealing under $500, through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Ruckman said.
As of Jan. 12, no charges had been filed, he said.
