A 32-year-old Festus woman allegedly threatened to kill police officers and their families after Arnold Police woke her up at a gas station pump, authorities reported.
Officers were called at about 4:05 p.m. July 31 to the QuikTrip gas station, 1069 Jeffco Blvd., because the woman appeared to be unconscious behind the wheel of a running 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix that was stopped at one of the pumps, the report said.
The officers put the car in park and turned off the engine before trying to wake up the woman. When the woman woke up, she started to yell at the officers and emergency medical personnel who came to evaluate her and she threatened the officers and their families, Arnold Police reported.
The woman allegedly was driving with a revoked license. She was arrested and taken to the Police Station, where she was booked and because she continued to threaten the officers, the woman was transported to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County for evaluation, the report said.
Arnold Police will seek charges against the woman through the Arnold Municipal Court for for driving with a revoked license and intimidating an officer, Detective Lt. Jason Valentine said.
