Arnold Police are seeking a 31-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, both from Festus, for allegedly stealing tools from a pickup parked outside a home in the 3200 block of Clara Drive. The theft was reported about 5:15 Feb. 6, Arnold Police reported.
The victim told Arnold Police that he spotted the male suspect in his driveway the previous evening, and the suspect allegedly told the victim his name before leaving, a report said.
The female suspect was driving a pickup that pulled up in front of the house, and the male suspect allegedly got out and stole the toolbox from the victim’s pickup. The toolbox was filled with a variety of tools and was in the bed of the pickup, a report said.
The toolbox and tools were valued at $1,100. As of Feb. 16, they had not been recovered, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
He said Arnold Police identified the Festus pair as the suspects and listed them as wanted. As of Feb. 16, however, they had not been taken into custody, Jones said.
