A victim reported the theft of $3,300 in equipment from an unlocked shed on his De Soto-area property.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the incident occurred between July 15 and July 18 in the 3000 block of Valles Mines Road.
Items taken included a 23-horsepower Kawasaki motor, an 8-horsepower Briggs & Stratton motor and a fertilizer spreader.
Sgt. Matthew Moore said Aug. 3 none of the items had been recovered and there had been no arrests.
