Richard Marvin Kieffer, 48, of Fenton recently was sentenced to 10 years in prison for child molestation, court records show.

Between May 1, 2013, and Sept. 30, 2013, Kieffer had sexual contact with a girl younger than 14 years old, the probable-cause statement said.

Kieffer, formerly of Warrenton, pleaded guilty to the charge and on Feb. 11, Jefferson County Div. 7 Circuit Judge Troy A. Cardona sentenced him to 10 years, the report said.

Jefferson County assistant prosecuting attorney Marie Pudlowski handled the case.

Kieffer previously pleaded guilty to statutory sodomy, sexual misconduct and other felony charges stemming from a Feb. 2011 incident in St. Louis and was sentenced on Jan. 23 to a 10-year term and two four-year terms in prison and 11 months in jail in that case, court papers indicate.

All the terms are to be served concurrently, or at the same time, the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office reported.

Kieffer previously served jail time for domestic assault tied to a September 2013 incident in Jefferson County.

In addition, he pleaded guilty in April 1995 to a drug charge that occurred in Laclede County, according to court documents.
