A 43-year-old Fenton man who was acting suspiciously outside an Arnold gas station was arrested after he allegedly was found with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The incident happened just after 3 p.m. Nov. 25 at the QuikTrip parking lot, 2120 Lone Star Drive, Arnold Police reported.

An officer was checking on a 2000 GMC Sonoma that appeared to be abandoned at the gas station when he spotted the man. After making contact with him, the officer allegedly found him with a substance that appeared to be meth, as well as drug paraphernalia, the report said.

The man already was wanted in Chesterfield, Maplewood, Florissant and Webster Groves on outstanding warrants. He was arrested and taken to the Arnold Police Station, where he was booked and then held for one of the other law enforcement agencies, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.

Depending on lab results from the drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, Wooldridge said.
