A 25-year-old Lonedell man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for sexually molesting a young girl in House Springs, court records show.
On Dec. 26, 2015, Seth M. Evans, 25, of Lonedell, had sexual contact with a girl who was 11 at the time while they both were at a home on Bettina Drive in House Springs, the report said.
Evans pleaded guilty to felony first-degree child molestation, and on Dec. 7, former Jefferson County Div. 3 Circuit Judge Nathan B. Stewart sentenced him to 12 years in prison. The man also must register as a sex offender, according to the report.
Jefferson County assistant prosecuting attorney Marie Pudlowski handled the case.
Evans currently is in the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre.
