A rash of spray-painted symbols around Dartingbird Drive has Eureka Police looking for those responsible for the graffiti.
On July 31, Xs and other symbols were spray-painted on an exterior basement wall at a home in the 100 block of Dartingbird Drive, a police report said. Eureka Police Lt. David Wilson said the same kinds of symbols also were painted on a few stop signs in the area, starting on July 20. There were no more reports of graffiti after the house was vandalized, Wilson said today (Aug. 7). He said there were no suspects in connection with the graffiti either.
