Eureka Police are investigating the theft of a brake box that was stolen from outside a home on Leona Lane, Capt. David Wilson said.
The Tapco aluminum metal brake box was stolen between 5 p.m. Jan. 10 and 7 a.m. Jan. 11. It was leaning against a shed behind the home, police reported.
The brake box is worth $1,700. As of Jan. 17, the brake box had not been recovered and there were no suspects, Wilson said.
