Eureka Police are investigating the reported theft of $8,850 worth of items from a home in the 500 block of Hilltop Townes Drive. A man who lives at the home with his mother told police he noticed numerous items missing from the home and suspected the theft occurred between Nov. 23 and Jan. 3, a report said.
Among the missing items were jewelry, including the mother’s wedding ring, crystal figurines and a gold-plated flatware set. The stolen items had not been recovered, as of Thursday (Jan. 4), Eureka Police Lt. David Wilson said.
He said were no suspects either. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
