Eureka Police are investigating damage at the Legends Country Club, 625 Legends Parkway, after it appeared someone drove a recreational vehicle onto the green at the golf course, police reported.
Officers were called at 1:15 p.m. July 14 to the green near the intersection of Hunter Combe Road and Legends Parkway. A club employee said the green was damaged some time after about 7 p.m. July 13, the report said.
Officers saw tire tracks and tread marks in circles on the green. The estimated cost to repair the damage was $700, according to the report.
As of Aug. 5, no suspects had been identified, Lt. Brett Grittini said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
