Eureka Police are trying to locate an electric scooter that was stolen outside of the Taco Bell restaurant, 83 Hilltop Village Center Drive. A 17-year-old Eureka woman had parked the scooter behind a dumpster before going into work at the restaurant, police reported.
Officers were called at about 10:30 pm. April 3 after the scooter was stolen. The black Segway scooter was stolen between 4 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. that day, the report said.
The scooter’s estimated value is $500, according to the report.
As of April 20, the scooter had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Lt. Brett Grittini said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
