Eight air-conditioning units were stolen from Perfect Air Heating & Air Conditioning in Festus on Dec. 13, Police Chief Tim Lewis reported.
“We were contacted about 9:50 p.m. to a business at 503 Warne St. after they learned eight air-conditioning units had been stolen,” Lewis said. “The air-conditioning units were behind the building. Video footage showed they pulled up in a truck. It looked like two guys. They pulled up and loaded the air conditioners in the truck.”
Lewis said he had no estimate for the stolen items.
He said Tuesday (Dec. 19) that the theft was still under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to call the Festus Police at 636-937-3646.
