A 23-year-old De Soto man has been arrested for allegedly stealing a $100 bill from the McDonald’s restaurant, 250 Arnold Crossroads, in Arnold, where he worked. He reportedly stole the money at about 3:30 a.m. June 13, Arnold Police report.
The money was stolen from the manager’s office, and after she noticed it missing, she reviewed surveillance footage that allegedly showed the suspect taking the money. Police reviewed the footage and confirmed that it showed the man stealing the money, the report said.
At 9:15 a.m. June 14, Arnold Police went to the restaurant to question the employee, who was there at the time. He was arrested at the restaurant, Arnold Police Detective Lt. James Jones said.
The suspect, who already was wanted on an outstanding warrant from De Soto for stealing, was transported to the Arnold Police Department, where he was booked, issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for misdemeanor stealing and then held for De Soto Police. The $100 bill was not recovered, Jones said.
