Eureka Police are investigating the theft of copper pipe from a home in the 5200 block of Eagle Wing Court. A pipe cutter tool appeared to be used to cut the pipe from an irrigation system, police reported.
A 78-year-old Eureka man called police on March 6 after discovering the pipe had been cut. Investigators believe the pipe was stolen between March 2-6, according to the report.
The stolen pipe is worth about $1,575, the report said.
As of Monday, none of the pipe had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Lt. Brett Grittini said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
