A 29-year-old St. Louis man, who previously had been convicted of a felony, was arrested after he allegedly displayed a gun at the Hotshots Sports Bar and Grill, 131 Arnold Crossroads Center. The incident happened at 3:41 p.m. Dec. 10, Arnold Police reported.
Police were called to the bar after the man was seen displaying a gun on his hip, and officers allegedly found him carrying both a gun and brass knuckles, the report said.
The man was arrested and taken to the Police Station, where he was booked. While he was at the Police Station, officers learned he was a convicted felon and was not allowed to have a gun, according to the report.
He was released pending application for warrants. Arnold Police will seek charges against him through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
