Three concrete saws were stolen from Red Oak Landscaping, 1803 Old Hwy. 21, in the Arnold area. The theft occurred between about 5:30 p.m. Sept. 16 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 17, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.

It looked like a hole was cut in a chain link fence at the business. Then, the Stihl saws were stolen from an unlocked shed in the back of the business, the report said.

The value of the saws and cost to repair the fence was estimated at about $4,100, according to the report.

As of Sept. 29, none of the saws had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said. Anyone with information about the incident should call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
