Arnold Police are trying to identify a man who reportedly was seen in surveillance video damaging a van outside Comtrea’s facility at 21 Municipal Drive. The man allegedly damaged the driver-side door and ignition on the 2007 Ford Econoline, police reported.
Comtrea reported the damage, which was estimated at about $800, on Dec. 5. However, the damage probably occurred at about 4:30 a.m. Nov. 21, according to surveillance footage that showed a man in dark clothing enter and exit the van. No items were stolen from the van, the report said.
Cpl. Brett Ackermann said Comtrea employees were told about the damage the day it occurred, but they did not say why they didn’t report the incident until December.
As of Dec. 13, the man seen in the surveillance footage had not been identified, Ackermann said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
