A 36-year-old Cedar Hill woman was arrested after she allegedly attempted to cash a fraudulent check at the Enterprise Bank, 3944 Vogel Road, in Arnold, police reported.
Officers were called July 28 to the bank. The check appeared to be a payroll check issued to the woman, but there was no active account connected to the payer listed on the check, the report said.
After the woman was arrested, officers learned she was wanted on traffic-related warrants by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Sunset Hills Police, according to the report.
The woman was taken to the Police Station, where she was held for the other arresting agencies, the report said.
Arnold Police will seek a charge against the woman through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for fraud, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
