Fire destroys shed in Cedar Hill

A fire destroyed a shed and damaged the siding on a home in the 6300 block of Cedar Drive in Cedar Hill on Jan. 19. No injuries were reported, said Chief Mick Fischer of the Cedar Hill Fire Protection District.

He said the homeowner was on the property when the fire started and noticed smoke coming from the shed. Cedar Hill Fire arrived on the scene at 6:03 p.m., and the fire was under control by 6:20 p.m.

Fischer said the shed was a total loss.

The cause of the fire was accidental and undetermined, he said.

Cedar Hill Fire was back in service by 7:07 p.m., Fischer added.
