Cedar Hill Fire Protection District officials are seeking information about a suspicious fire at a single-family home at Cedar Springs Road and Sunset Drive in Cedar Hill.
Battalion Chief Bob Tucker said the fire occurred sometime between Sept. 26 and the morning of Sept. 29.
No one was living in the home, but people recently began moving in and painting, he said.
Tucker said no one was home when the fire occurred. He also said there was a small amount of damage to the home.
Tucker said Cedar Hill Fire got a call about the fire at 12:01 p.m. and arrived on the scene at 12:06 p.m. He said crews stayed on the scene until around 4 p.m.
He said the Missouri State Fire Marshal's Office and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office are investigating the cause of the fire.
