catalytic converters

Arnold Police are investigating the theft of catalytic converters from a Metrolink van that was parked at the Arnold commuter lot near the intersection of Vogel and Richardson roads. An estimated cost to repair the van was not provided, police said.

The van was left parked on the lot at about 10 p.m. Dec. 6. When a Metrolink employee started the van at about 9 a.m. Dec. 11, he discovered the van’s dual catalytic converters had been cut off, the report said.

As of Dec. 21, neither of the converters had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
