Two catalytic converters were cut off a Fox C-6 School District bus parked at the district’s bus lot in the 3800 block of Old Hwy. M in Antonia. The converters were valued at about $2,000, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The catalytic converters were cut off a 2014 Chevrolet Express Bus between about 4:30 p.m. Feb. 8 and 7:10 a.m. Feb. 9, the report said.
As of Feb. 17, the converters had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
