Investigators search a Mazda SUV that was driven this morning to Festus City Hall and Police Station on Tuesday morning by a woman who allegedly told officers she killed two of her children.

A catalytic converter was cut off a van parked outside Southfork Electric Supply, 1512 Lonedell Industrial Court, in Arnold. The cost to replace the converter was estimated at $300, Arnold Police reported.

An employee said he had parked the 2014 Ford E-250 work van outside the business on Nov. 19 and discovered the catalytic converter missing at about 7:55 a.m. Nov. 22., the report said.

As of Dec. 1, the converter had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jason Valentine said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
