Arnold Police are investigating the theft of a catalytic converter from a pickup parked at the Flamm City river access area. The pickup had been parked there for about five hours before the theft, authorities reported.
The converter was cut off a 2017 Dodge Ram between about 7 a.m. and noon Sept. 11. The owner of the pickup, a 44-year-old St. Louis man, estimated the cost to replace the converter at $5,000, the report said.
As of Sept. 15, the converter had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Cpl. Brett Ackermann said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
