Arnold Police are investigating the theft of a catalytic converter from a SSM Physical Therapy and Day Institute SUV. The cost to repair the vehicle was estimated at $4,000, police reported.
The converter was cut off the 2018 Ford Escape while it was parked outside the rehabilitation clinic at 4 Arnold Park Mall during the overnight hours between Oct. 2 and Oct. 3. An employee reported the theft at about 10:45 a.m. Oct. 3, the report said.
As of Oct. 17, the converter had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Det. Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
