One Six Flags visitor apparently thought it was duck season.
A 23-year-old Caseyville, Ill., man allegedly assaulted a park employee wearing a Daffy Duck costume at 8:49 p.m. June 3, Eureka Police reported.
The Caseyville man told police he grabbed the bill of the duck costume, but only because he saw other people doing it and thought it was allowed, according to the report.
The employee, a 19-year-old St. Clair man, alleged that the Caseyville man grabbed him, tried to pull him down and pushed him. Then the 23-year-old allegedly yelled profanity and threatened to beat up the teenager, according to the report. The Caseyville man allegedly had an odor of alcohol.
There were no injuries reported from the encounter.
The Caseyville man was arrested on suspicion of assault and issued a summons to appear in Eureka Municipal Court, Capt. David Wilson said.
