The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is trying to find a black 2010 Mercedes C300 stolen from outside a home in the 3000 block of Highland House Villas Court in the Arnold area. A yellow 2015 Chevrolet Camaro also was stolen from outside the home, but it was recovered, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
The cars, which were unlocked with the keys inside, were stolen at about 3:35 a.m. July 15. The Camaro, which was valued at about $14,000, was found the same day in Ferguson, after authorities used the victim’s OnStar locator app to track it down, the report said.
As of July 28, however, the Mercedes, which was valued at about $8,000, was still missing, and no suspects had been identified, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said.
