Arnold Police are investigating the theft of a car from outside a home in the 1300 block of Windcrest Circle. The silver 2013 Kia Optima was worth about $8,000, police reported.
A 25-year-old Arnold woman told police the car was stolen between about 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Dec. 2. It was parked in the home’s driveway, and the car was locked. The woman also had the keys to the car, the report said.
Glass was found in the driveway, and investigators believe the window was broken before the car was stolen, the report said.
As of Dec. 9, the Kia had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Det. Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the stolen car to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
