A bullet went through a mobile home in the 4100 block of Edward Court in High Ridge and into a room where two children were at the time. The bullet did not strike either of the two girls in the room, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Deputies were called to the home at about 7:35 p.m. April 9. The bullet appeared to have been fired from the east and went through a mobile home wall before striking a dresser and landing on a window sill, the report said.
As of April 19, investigators did not know who fired the bullet, and it did not appear the home was targeted, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said. Anyone with information about the incident should call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
