Festus Police are seeking information about a bullet that recently was fired through a window and into a home in the 500 block of Moore Street. No one was hurt in the incident, Chief Tim Lewis said.
He said it was the second time in two months a window on the home was broken when a projectile was fired through it.
Chief Tim Lewis said the latest incident occurred about 5:50 a.m. Dec. 19.
“The owner said he heard glass shatter. It went through a window,” Lewis said. “He also heard squealing tires.”
The victim, a 66-year-old man, said a window previously was broken when someone shot a marble through it, Lewis said.
“Probably with a slingshot,” Lewis added.
As of Dec. 21, no arrests had been made, Lewis said. He asks anyone with information about the incidents to call Festus Police at 636-937-3646.
