A 47-inch television and other items recently were stolen from a mobile home in the 4800 block of Dulin Creek Road in House Springs. The theft happened between 6 p.m. Aug. 26 and 7 a.m. Sept. 3 when someone pushed a window unit air conditioner aside to get into the home, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The victim said the home was vacant because it was being repaired. In addition to the TV, stolen items included an Xbox One gaming system and an Xbox Kinect; five Xbox games; a tool box containing miscellaneous tools; and a compact disc player. The items were valued at $1,190, the report said.
As of Sept. 14, no items had been recovered and no arrests had been made, Cpl. Matthew Moore said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
