A BMW recently was stolen from the parking lot at Anco Overhead Door in the 100 block of Cool Valley Drive in the Fenton area, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The theft occurred between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Feb. 21, but it wasn’t reported to the Sheriff’s Office until 8:14 a.m. Feb. 27.
The victim said he left the car, a white, four-door 2003 BMW valued at $5,000, at the business on Feb. 10, and when he went back on Feb. 26 to get it, an employee told him it was missing, the report said.
As of March 11, the car had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Lt. Gary Higginbotham of the Sheriff’s Office.
He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
