A 26-year-old Barnhart woman recently was arrested for allegedly stealing a rental car, Arnold Police report.
The woman reportedly had rented a 2015 Nissan Versa from Enterprise Leasing and failed to return it when she was supposed to, the report said.
Arnold Police listed the woman as wanted, and St. Francois County officers found her on Feb. 20 in Bonne Terre, with the car, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
The car was towed from the scene and returned to the owner, and the woman was booked, Ruckman said.
Arnold Police will seek felony charges against her through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Ruckman said.
