Arnold Police arrested a 52-year-old Ballwin man for alleged possession of heroin after he was pulled over on Starling Airport Road. An officer was called at 5:56 p.m. July 25 to check on the man after he reportedly was spotted doing squats and holding a can of spray paint on a porch at a home in the 500 block of B Street, police reported.
By the time the officer arrived at the home, the suspect had left, driving away in a 2006 Nissan Sentra. However, the officer spotted the car at the intersection of Starling Airport Road and Electra Drive and stopped it, the report said.
The officer searched the car and allegedly found what appeared to be heroin capsules on the floor of the Sentra. The man was arrested, taken to the Police Station, booked and later released pending application for warrants, the report said.
Depending on the drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek a charge for possession of heroin against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
