Arnold Police are searching for a 25-year-old House Springs man after he allegedly fled from an officer who was attempting to pull him over. The incident occurred at 11:43 p.m. March 30 in the 2100 block of Farmcrest Drive, Arnold Police reported.

An officer spotted the suspect allegedly driving a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu with an expired license plate on Jeffco Boulevard, and after the officer turned on his emergency lights, the man fled east on Farmcrest Drive, the report said.

The man then lost control of the Malibu, which jumped a hill in the middle of the road before coming to a stop. He then got out of the car and ran away. After searching the vehicle, authorities allegedly found heroin and drug paraphernalia, according to the report.

Arnold Police identified the man as the suspect and issued warrants for his arrest for allegedly driving with a revoked license, resisting arrest and possessing heroin and drug paraphernalia, Lt. Tom Leassner said. As of April 6, the House Springs man had not been taken into custody, Leassner said.
