The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating damage to AT&T wire in the 8300 block of Hwy. B in Cedar Hill, police reported.
The wire appears to have been cut at about 3:20 a.m. May 15. An employee called the Sheriff’s Office after an alarm went off in the area, the report said.
The Sheriff’s Office did not report approximately how much wire was cut, if any wire was stolen or the cost to repair the damage. Authorities also did not say if service was disrupted in the area due to the damage.
As of May 21, no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the damage to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
