wedding ring

Arnold Police are investigating the theft of two gold and diamond rings from an apartment at Cedarhurst of Arnold, a senior living facility at 2069 Missouri State Road. Together, the rings were valued at about $8,000, authorities reported.

An 80-year-old Arnold woman reported the theft at about 2:10 p.m. May 3. She said she didn’t remember the last time she saw the rings, and when officers searched the apartment, they were unable to find the rings, the report said.

One of the missing rings is a diamond wedding ring worth $5,000, and the other is a diamond anniversary ring valued at about $3,000, according to the report.

As of May 12, the rings were still missing, and no suspects had been identified, Cpl. Brett Ackermann said. He asks anyone with information about the rings to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
