A 29-year-old Arnold woman recently was cited for child endangerment after two toddlers were found alone on Park Drive. The suspect is the mother of one of the toddlers and was watching the other one, Arnold Police report.

The toddlers were found just before 1 p.m. June 1 on Park Drive, and police located the woman responsible for them asleep at a nearby home, in the 2100 block of Plaza Drive, the report said.

Detective Lt. James Jones said the woman had several children at the home, ranging in age from 4 months to 13 years, and she told officers she thought two of the older children were watching the younger ones.

Police returned the woman’s young child to her, and Children’s Division took custody of the other toddler. The woman was issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, the report said.
