A 34-year-old Arnold woman recently was arrested for allegedly stealing credit and debit cards from a neighbor she was babysitting for, Arnold Police report.

On Dec. 10, the suspect babysat for her neighbor, who lives in the 2300 block of Virginia Court, and two days later the victim noticed that unauthorized charges had been made with her cards and then discovered they were missing, the report said.

The suspect allegedly had taken the cards and then charged $36.87 at Imo’s Pizza on Dec. 11, as well as $12.16 at Little Caesar’s and $29.95 in online purchases, both on Dec. 12, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.

The suspect was arrested Dec. 29. She already was wanted in St. Louis County on outstanding warrants and $15,000 in bonds for possession of a controlled substance and fraudulent use of a credit device and in Desloge on an outstanding warrant for misdemeanor stealing, Ruckman said.

He said Arnold Police will seek charges against the woman through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
