woman in handcuffs

A 36-year-old Arnold woman recently was arrested for alleged possession of methamphetamine after she was found trespassing at a home in the 800 block of Hyde Park in Arnold. The incident occurred about 6:35 p.m. July 19, when a woman who lives in the home heard the front door open and then found the suspect sitting at her kitchen table, Capt. Bill Bonsack said.

The victim did not know the suspect, who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics and confused, making nonsensical remarks. For example, she claimed she was tied up when she wasn’t. Eventually, the person who lived at the home got the suspect of her house, Bonsack said.

When officers arrived, they allegedly found the suspect with meth. She was taken into custody, booked and then released pending application for warrants, the report said.

Arnold Police will seek felony drug charges and trespassing charges against her through the Jefferson Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Bonsack said.
