A 39-year-old Arnold woman was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated following a short police chase, starting near the Woodland Manor nursing senior living complex off Missouri State Road and ending at Old Lemay Ferry Road and Hwy. 141, Arnold Police Detective Lt. James Jones said.
He said the woman had a prior DWI.
At 10:10 p.m. Dec. 15, an Arnold Police officer tried to pull over the woman near Woodland Manor and she initially failed to yield. However, after the police officer chased her for about 1 mile, she pulled over, Jones said.
He said the woman appeared intoxicated but she refused to take a breath test. She was booked and released pending application for warrants. Arnold Police will seek charges against her through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Jones said.
